The book is a right mix of a sleeping beauty meets black mirror retelling, and that is so spot on because it gave off that vibe. It is so creepy, and I loved the tone of the book. There are so many small details that gave me actual chills. It’s a page-turner and so realistic.

Blogmas Day 1: November Wrap Up & Favourite Book of the Month

I had a solid start to my 2019 reading challenge, but as we got further into the year, my reading slowed down quite a bit (I can’t complain though, as I still have managed to read over 130 books so far). November quite possible was the slowest month for me in terms of numbers. I’ve read a total of 9 books this month, which still sounds like a lot for some, but for me, it’s quite a bit less than I would have liked for myself.

With leaves turning golden, nights drawing in and fires being lit, autumn is the perfect time to settle down in a comfy chair with some poetry and a nice cup of tea for company.
