Happy New Year! A look back on blogging in 2019

Happy New Year! In the last few days of 2019, many of us have been taking stock of what has happened in the past 12 months. I’m definitely ready for a new year to begin. I’ve been able to devote a lot of time to my blog this year and going forward with my blog in 2020, expect to see more book reviews, wrap-ups, bookstore exploring, weekends away and overall fun times.

Blogmas Day 9: Series I Want to Finish in 2020!

Blogmas Day 9: Series I Want to Finish in 2020!

I don’t know about you, but I really want to focus more on finishing books from a series in the new year. I have a terrible habit of starting a book, but never pick up its sequel, even if I’ve loved the book and plan to read the rest of the series. Blogmas Day 7: Prettiest Book Covers

Blogmas Day 7: Prettiest Book Covers

I know, I know, You’re supposed to read books, not judge them by their covers. When I’m browsing a bookstore, I am one of those people who gravitate towards beautiful looking books before I even try to read the synopsis. I’d like to think everyone does this though, haha.

2019 has had a lot of releases, and there are some stunning editions to be shown from this year’s book list. There is no rime or reason in the order of this list, it’s just that I really like all of them.

Blogmas Day 5: Books I’ve DNF’d in 2019

Blogmas Day 5: Books I’ve DNF’d in 2019

As some of you probably know, I am definitely not a DNFer and this year Í wanted to make a semi-conscious effort to DNF more books if I didn’t actually enjoy reading them. My reading time is limited and I want to spend it reading books I’m enjoying. I gave up on a total of eleven books (which doesn’t necessarily mean that I won’t try them again in the future.

Keep reading to find out which books I couldn’t finish, and why!
